Our Mission
Family Health Center, Inc. (FHC) is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization led by a community-based Board of Directors, many of whom are also patients of FHC. This ensures our leadership reflects the people we serve and stays rooted in real community needs. The mission of Family Health Center is to provide high-quality, comprehensive primary healthcare in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
Our Vision
Family Health Center’s vision is to: "Improve geographic access to services in our five-county region. (Jones, Jasper, Clarke, Smith, and Wayne Counties) Provide friendly, courteous service to our patients. Provide culturally-competent services by hiring staff from the populations served and providing cultural competency training. Promote quality by hiring qualified staff, supporting continuing education and staff development, and implementing continuous quality improvement throughout the organization. Become a model for medical care delivery in a framework of co-located, supportive services. Become a leader in local and regional collaboration and network."
